PHYSICALLY ACTIVE

Are you the weekend warrior? Have you become the “older adult” whose training doesn’t quite look how it used to, but you still enjoy competing on the weekends. Have you noticed an increase in soreness after competition and that your body isn’t recovering as quickly as you remember? Good news, Milwaukee Movement is here for those who want to continue to perform their regular physical activity, while helping to decrease painful movements, which helps to improve your overall quality of life.

Your goal may be to maintain physical fitness, a healthy weight, decrease your high blood pressure, and reduce the risk of heart disease, but our goal is to get to the root cause of your pain and get you back to living a pain-free life. When you are living a life absent of pain and performing regular physical activity, you are able to experience numerous health benefits, such as improved bone health, cognitive function, reduced depression and anxiety risk, and improved sleep as stated by the physical activity guidelines for Americans. At Milwaukee Movement, we recognize that pain or injury that has not been properly healed can make it challenging to perform any amount of physical activity, much less the recommended weekly 150 minutes of moderate intensity aerobic activity that was once common for you. We want you to be able to perform the aerobic muscle strengthening exercises you love such as walking, cycling, jogging, and running with no limits, and are committed to providing you the resources necessary to maintain your success even after you have completed your sports medicine therapy and rehabilitation.

I cannot begin to describe how grateful I am to have been referred to Milwaukee Movement. Rhianna has a patient approach and is committed to finding you comfort by getting to the root cause of your pain. I've struggled with lower back / SI joint pain for almost 20 years and no amount of massage, PT, chiropractic care, dry needling, exercising or stretching has made even close to the impact as a single session with Rhianna. My daughter has seen her for sports injuries as well, and has had remarkable results!

I had severe neck and shoulder pain to the point that I could not sleep. I made an appointment to see Rhianna. After her assessment, she began working on my neck and shoulders. I immediately felt some relief and went home with an exercise program. At this point, I knew I was on the road to recovery. It took about eight sessions with Rhianna before I was good to go. I highly recommend Rhianna for any muscle or joint pain!
